Use Of BoatLens
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of BoatLens, including the website, boat profiles, analyzer, calculators, guides, checklists, feedback tools, request-a-boat tools, and related content.
By using BoatLens, you agree to use it only for lawful, personal, informational, and educational purposes. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use BoatLens.
Informational And Educational Purposes Only
BoatLens provides informational and educational tools for used-boat research. BoatLens does not provide legal, financial, tax, insurance, marine survey, brokerage, valuation, appraisal, mechanical, safety, or other professional advice.
BoatLens does not recommend, endorse, encourage, or discourage the purchase, sale, financing, insuring, surveying, or ownership of any specific vessel. Any buyer-action labels, scores, fit assessments, red flags, pricing observations, cost estimates, fuel estimates, depreciation estimates, or market assessments are informational signals only.
Software-Assisted Analysis And Estimation Models
BoatLens uses software-assisted analysis, estimation models, curated boat data, category benchmarks, available market signals, default planning assumptions, and user-provided information.
Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or based on limited information. Estimates can vary materially by boat, engine, condition, location, usage, season, market availability, maintenance history, financing terms, insurance quote, storage choice, and inspection findings.
No Guarantee Of Accuracy, Completeness, Or Availability
BoatLens is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. BoatLens does not guarantee that content, calculations, scores, estimates, manual market ranges, boat profiles, or third-party links are accurate, complete, current, available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Market observations are not a complete inventory of available boats and are not a guarantee of current market value. Pricing ranges and depreciation estimates are not appraisals or valuations.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for independently verifying all important information before making any buying, selling, financing, insurance, survey, repair, storage, transportation, registration, tax, or ownership decision.
Before relying on any information, consult appropriate professionals where relevant, including a qualified marine surveyor, marine mechanic, dealer, lender, insurance broker, tax advisor, legal advisor, or other qualified professional.
